2021 CoC Program Competition is Now Open
The Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2021 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program Competition has been posted on the FY 2021 Continuum of Care Program Competition: Funding Opportunity page on the HUD Exchange.
Local competition submissions are due to the Alliance by 11:59 pm on September 24, 2021.

Kings Tulare CoC Membership Drive
The Kings Tulare Continuum of Care on Homelessness would like to invited individuals and organizations to join us in the fight to end homelessness in the bi-county region by becoming a member of the CoC. Public Comment: Coordinated Entry Written Standards
The Kings/Tulare Homeless Alliance is currently in an open comment period for the Coordinated Entry Written Standards. The Alliance encourages all members to comment on these proposed measures. CA COVID-19 Rent Relief
The State of California is now accepting applications for rental and utilities assistance for renters and landlords who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The program can pay up to 80% of a renters unpaid rent if the landlord agrees to waive the remaining 20% or 25% of the unpaid rent if the landlord doesn't agree. Also eligible are future rent and utilities assistance.

Public Comment: Temporary COVID-19/CES Prioritization Policies
The Kings/Tulare Homeless Alliance is currently in an open comment period for the Temporary COVID/CES Prioritization Policies. The purpose of these temporary prioritization policies is to quickly identify and house people who are experiencing homelessness that are at a high risk for developing serious complications from COVID-19. The Alliance encourages all members to comment on these proposed measures. The public comment period runs from 4/9/2021 to 4/16/2021. Please submit comments to leticiah@kthomelessalliance.org.
