Landlord Engagement

The Kings/Tulare Homeless Alliances thinks of landlord engagement as the cumulative efforts of rental market research, outreach and education, recruitment, incentivization, and retention of landlords to expand housing opportunities for people experiencing homelessness. At KTHA we offer incentives such as holding deposits, move-in costs, signing bonuses, and the Landlord Mitigation Fund Program.

If you are a landlord or property manager interested in partnering with Kings/Tulare Homeless Alliance please complete the Intake Form or contact the Landlord Relations Specialist.

Landlord Incentives

The Kings/Tulare Homeless Alliance recognizes the commitment Landlords and Property Managers have to end homelessness in the Bi-County region. We strive to make the leasing process as effortless as possible by providing the holding deposits, move-in costs, signing bonus, and Landlord Mitigation Fund.

Landlord Mitigation fund

The Kings/Tulare Homeless Alliance’s Landlord Mitigation Fund works to create successful landlord partnerships across the Kings and Tulare counties. The fund can pay for damages, unpaid rent, or other fees or charges that may be accrued from leasing to individuals who were previously unhoused.

If you are a landlord or property management company interested in becoming a property partner with the Kings/Tulare Homeless Alliance, please complete the intake form for your property below.
