Point In Time

The Point-in-Time (PIT) Count is an annual street and shelter count of individuals and families experiencing homelessness throughout Kings and Tulare Counties. The survey results provide valuable information about the characteristics, experiences, and patterns of homelessness within our communities.

The PIT Count provides service agencies, local governments, and policymakers with an opportunity to identify trends in homelessness and evaluate the effectiveness of existing programs and services. It also serves as an important tool for agencies and community partners to inform funding applications, plan programs, and develop services that respond to the needs of people experiencing homelessness throughout Kings and Tulare Counties.
