2017 HUD COC PROGRAM NOFA RELEASED
The Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2017 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program Competition has been posted to the FY 2017 CoC Program Competition: Funding Availability page on the HUD Exchange. The Alliance is seeking project proposals from both new and existing agencies.

A mandatory Applicant Workshop will be held on Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 3:00-5:00 pm at the Alliance office located at 1900 N. Dinuba Boulevard, Suite G in Visalia. The workshop is designed to give attendees an overview of the application process, grant funds available, requirements and key strategies for a successful application.
There are several important due dates and deliverables that must be accomplished as a part of the competition. Please review the HUD NOFA for the competition materials and review the Alliance Competition Timeline for local deadlines.

The Alliance has released its Request for Applications (RFA) for the upcoming State of California Housing and Community Development (HCD) Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) 2017 funding cycle. For this RFA, approximately $643,045 will be available for Emergency Shelter, Rapid Rehousing or Street Outreach projects. Applications are due to the Alliance no later than July 10, 2017.

The Alliance has issued an updated version of the Project Selection and Ranking Process for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Notice of Funding Opportunity for the FY 2016 Continuum of Care Program Competition (HUD CoC NOFA). Revisions are marked in red font.

Stakeholder Feedback Requested on HUD CoC Program Project Selection Process
The Alliance has prepared a draft Project Selection and Ranking Process for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Notice of Funding Opportunity for the FY 2016 Continuum of Care Program Competition (HUD CoC NOFA). Through this competition, $2,188,581 will be available for local projects.
We are requesting that community stakeholders review the selection and ranking process (pages 1-21) and provide feedback. As you review document, please reference the FY2016 HUD CoC NOFA Competition Page for funding requirements and competitiveness.
