Local Initiatives Navigation Center (L.I.N.C.)

 

Local Initiatives Navigation Centers (L.I.N.C.) in the Kings and Tulare Counties provide services to individuals and families experiencing homelessness in a centralized location. L.I.N.C brings together social service providers, faith based organizations, and government agencies to help families locate affordable housing, employment, mental health and substance abuse treatment, along with other needed services. Services offered may vary by location.

Services include:

  • Employment assistance

  • Mental health services

  • HIV education and resources

  • Child support services

  • Referrals to expert providers

  • Free California ID vouchers for the DMV

  • Free cell phones

  • Housing assessment through the Coordinated Entry System

  • Enrollment into Medi-Cal and CalFresh
